SAB Zenzele Kabili is a B-BBEE scheme launched by Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV and The South African Breweries (SAB) to give retailer partners through The SAB Foundation Trust, SAB Group employees through the SAB Zenzele II Employee Share Trust, and qualifying members of the public who invest in the scheme an opportunity at real ownership in SAB Zenzele Kabili. The SAB Zenzele Kabili scheme replaced and built on the success of the original SAB Zenzele scheme which matured in May 2021, having been launched in 2010. The original SAB Zenzele scheme, was the largest B-BBEE scheme in the history of South Africa in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, having reached a total maturation value of R9.7 billion.
